Day 1 - Arrival / Shanghai
Welcome to China to explore China’s tea culture! Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2 - Shanghai (breakfast and lunch)
Program: After breakfast in the hotel, you will meet your guide at the hotel at around 8.30am and transfer to Yu Garden (closed on Monday) privately. Visit Yu Garden and enjoy your first tea experience in China in the old tea house in the Garden. Later, stroll the adjacent market to learn something about Shanghai old quarters. In the afternoon, visit Nanjing Road and the Bund. Today’s trip ends at Oriental Pearl TV Tower (sightseeing floor at 263m), included.
Day 3 - (Breakfast and lunch) Shanghai / Suzhou (Train)
Transfer- Pick up at the hotel after breakfast, take a high speed train to Suzhou or by private transfer.
Suzhou, a city famous for silk and gardens. Visit the Garden of Net Master and you will then go to Tiger Hill. Then visit Sam Wan Cheong Tea Shop. Stroll at Pingjiang Old Quarters along the Grand Canal to learn the lifestyle of local people.

Day 4 - (Breakfast and lunch) Suzhou / Wuxi
Program: After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to nearby West Mountain to visit the Biluochun Tea Garden, pick tea at the garden with tea farmers, see the whole process of how to make green tea, and then taste the Biluochun green tea. Lunch will be taken at the local farmers’ home.
In the afternoon, drive to Wuxi and stroll at Huishan Ancient Town.
Day 5 - (Breakfast and lunch) Wuxi / Yixing Yixiang / Hangzhou (Train)
Transfer: by Private vehicle to train station. Transfer: by Train - Yixing-Hnagzhou: G7661 (18.17 / 19.11)
Program: After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Yixing Hao Tea Garden, walk around the tea garden, learn about Hao Tea (one of the green teas) and taste the tea. Later, visit the Purple Sand museum (Monday closely) to learn about the purple clay teapot & cup, an important tea set in China. And then visit the Dragon Kiln in Qianshu Village – the last dragon kiln in China. After the trip, take a high speed train to Hangzhou.
Day 6 - (Breakfast and lunch) Hangzhou
Program: Visit West Lake with a boat cruise, later, head to Longjing Village to have a tea culture experience of tea picking, making and tea ceremony. Lunch will be taken in the village to taste foods cooked with tea leaves and tea soup. Visit China Tea Museum in the afternoon. West Lake by boat cruise
Day 7 - (Breakfast and lunch) Hangzhou / Huangshan (Train)
Transfer: by Train for 2nd class seat - Hangzhou-Huangshan: G1509 (09.36 / 11.05)
Program: Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the rail station for high speed train Huangshan city.
Upon arrival, you will be met and transfer to hotel check in.
After lunch in a local restaurant, drive to Qimen and view how black tea is processed and taste the tea. Later, visit Hongcun Village.
Day 8 - Huangshan (Breakfast and lunch)
Program: Full day visit Huangshan Mt. with round-way cable car.
Day 9 - (Breakfast and lunch) Huangshan / Wuyishan (Train)
Transfer: by Train
Program: Visit Maofeng Tea Farm and learn the making of this green tea. Later, take a Incense Pendant Making class to learn and make one or two incense pendants for you and your friend. In the afternoon, take a high speed train to Wuyishan.
Accommodations: Days Hotel By Wyndham Yinxiang Wuyishan, Wuyishan (Standard room / 2 nights)
Day 10 - Wuyishan (Breakfast and lunch)
Program: Today, you will visit Dahongpao (Red Gown) and Water Curtain Cave – about 3 hours, you will see Dahongpao’s mother bush, which is over 350 years old, in a special park. On the way back from the Water Curtain Cave, you can see a lot of tea gardens on the rock, where you can learn about rock tea.
Day 11 - (Breakfast and lunch) Wuyishan / Xiamen (Train)
Transfer: by Train
Program: Visit Wuyishan today. you will visit Tianyou Mountain (Wu Yi Mountain), which is the birthplace of China’s rock oolongs. You need to go up and down the mountain, about 3.5 hours. Later, you'll float along the Nine Curves River in a bamboo boat to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. On the boat, you’ll have a chance to absorb the scenery and learn why this particular area is so well suited for oolong tea. In the afternoon, you will visit Royal Tea Garden and learn about the history of Oolong Tea. Be met at the rail station and transfer to hotel check in.
Day 12 - (Breakfast and lunch) Xiamen / Anxi / Xiamen
Transfer: by Private vehicle
Program: In the morning, drive about 2hrs to Anxi, the capital of Tieguanyin. Visit Xiping Village, the home of the original Tieguanyin bush; then visit Tieguanyin Cultural Garden and Weiyin Tea Factory to learn the history and production methods of Tieguanyin. Later today, drive back to Xiamen.
Day 13 - Xiamen (Breakfast and lunch)
Program: Today we will drive about 2.5 hours to explore the China Fujian Tulou – Yongding Hakka Earth Buildings, one of the world's cultural heritages. Visit the King of Tulou – Chengqi Lou and the nearby other Hakka House. Visit Tulou Houses
Day 14 - Xiamen / Shanghai (Breakfast and lunch) (Train)
Transfer: by Train
Program: Morning visit Gulangyu Island (Kulangsu) by round-way ferry. Visit Shuzhuan Garden & Piano Museum, old buildings and stroll along the sea. Time permitting, free walking at Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street before transferring to the train station.
Train to Shanghai, transfer to hotel in Shanghai.
Breakfast. At the designated hour, transfer to Airport to take an outbound international flight.
